Subscribe to mod on the workshop. Run Skyrim from steam, which will bring up the launcher. With the external link mods, when an update comes out, you need to download the mod, delete the old folder, where the mod was placed, launch the game and check the launcher Mods tab. If the Mod is not in the tab, then extract the new version in the mods folder and Bobs your uncle. Works for me atleast. Workshop Mods not Working? So, after the update my mods havent been working. I thought that it was just cause they needed updating, but they still dont work. so i deleted them from my files and unsubscribed, but i can still view them on the launcher. additionally if i re subscribe to some of them, they still do not work at all.
